Modern Life

ArtLife is intended to be a reflection of my pursuit of excellence in photography, cooking, and writing. I said pursuit, not arrival!
When I started my balcony container garden this spring, I knew that come first frost, it would all have to be put away. That is, after all the whole nature of seasonal gardening. What I didn't quite figure on was the impact it would have. I have spent time in this wonderful mini environment every day this summer, watering, pruning, harvesting, etc. To have it all gone is, well, a bit of a shock. With terrestial gardens something always remains; many plants can overwinter; not so here. Ahh.. but next year......
