Balcony Gardening II
Well, the theory was that I would use part of our balcony for gardening and leave plenty of space for outdoor dining. The photos below show the current state of the balcony. Have I gone too far? Listen to my reasoning before you answer. It has been far too hot and humid to enjoy outdoor dining during July. So, I've concentrated on keeping the garden growing. Sounds good so far? Well, has it ever grown! I've only replaced plants that were not thriving and not really increased the number of crops under cultivation; the gradual conversion of the balcony to a garden with SOME seating is therefore not entirely my fault, right?!

There can never be too many plants on the balcony! I think it looks great and it must be wonderful to sit in a jungle smelling flowers and herbs rather than on a stinking hot concrete slab smelling exhaust from the cars below.
